Nobody Knows

Nobody Knows
Nobody Knows

I’m an incredibly open person, and I feel lucky to be able to express myself and my experiences in my work both but every now and again, it’s nice to keep a little narrative to yourself. This photograph was captured at a particularly joyful moment in my time in Cuba, and I wanted to create an image that would preserve the sense of joy, audacity, and indulgence in fun for fun’s own sake that I felt. Though the particular romantic relationship that took me to Cuba ended in a way that was not exactly desirable, I feel happy and grateful to be able to look back on that time fondly and with smiles and I’m glad I allowed myself to freely enjoy, essentially, enjoyment itself.
